Aviv is a Doctor of Computational Media located in Santa Cruz, California, where he leads research on intelligent VR environments for physical rehabilitation. His research focuses on the human-centered design and interaction technology used in Immergo. He previously worked with the National Institutes of Health, Meta (Facebook) Reality Labs, Walt Disney Imagineering, Warner Bros Entertainment, and Google Daydream on creating immersive VR systems for assistive technologies from autonomous visualization systems to interactive virtual guidance.
Biomechanics Lead, Co-Founder & CEO
Michael Ora Powell
Michael is a Doctor of Computer Engineering. He has extensive engineering, development, and project management skills from past research focusing on intelligent biomechanical simulation for analysis of systems from VR exercise games and devices to measure human performance during exercise.
Artificial Intelligence Lead, Co-Founder & CTO
Ash Robbins
Ash is a PhD candidate at UC Santa Cruz. He has extensive development experience in machine learning from bio-inspired robotics to rehabilitation movement and modeling. He previously has worked on robots with adjustable dynamic properties and analyzing neural data from lab-grown cortical organoids (miniature brain-like). His focus is on generalization in algorithmic design, using data driven approaches to quantify uncertainty. Robbins holds two BS degrees in Robotics and Cognitive Science focusing on artificial intelligence and human robot interaction.
